C++ does not even work at the moment.

What client that uses this lib comes with uClinux?
So far all SIP phones I've heard of have a KDE or Gnome GUI.

Don't know if we need this. We don't do hotplugging.
Unless future kernels turn out to be unusable without these,
I'd say don't import.

Could this solve the backspace problem?
I faintly recall that we did some hack somewhere that
made backspace work, but I don't know if it was "the proper"(tm)
way of solving the problem.
I guess this might also help the ssh client to talk to remote
terminals correctly? If so, please import.
