auto login / remote logins / multi user

Me too. Currently this password is 100% redundant since everyone knows
it.

Will anyone actually want multi-user logins on a handheld device? The
way I use DSLinux is as a personal terminal which I can use to ssh home.
I suspect many people use it the same way and won't value having more
than one login. In this case I still advocate not having to enter a
password to use DSLinux (except if you are telnetting into your DS from
outside).

I don't think that is such a bad solution. Maybe do a poll?

What about storing username/password in SDRAM?
