I did a quick mirror here:

171 MB compressed, 1003 MB uncompressed.

I also deleted the .svn directory, since it was bigger than the source
itself (I guess this is not the place for SVN flamewars, even if I'd
like to...)

Be sure to check the md5 sum after downloading, even more since you are
on a flaky connection:

  346a3b1e6713172d384098118418f1cd  dslinux.tar.bz2

To uncompress on a linux commandline:

  tar xjvvf dslinux.tar.bz2
